A journey to the past, full of history, surprises, and fun—at one of Santiago’s most iconic landmarks.

This winter break, history comes to life at Cerro San Cristóbal with an experience created especially for children: the Heritage Tour for Kids—an educational, entertaining, and surprise-filled adventure.

The tour will be available from June 20 to July 6, 2025, with daily departures at 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 12:00 PM, and 1:00 PM at Funicular Santiago (Pío Nono 450, Providencia).

Leading the journey is a very special guide—Benjamín Vicuña Mackenna, former mayor of Santiago. During the experience, young explorers will discover the fascinating story of the Santiago Funicular, a National Monument now celebrating its 100th anniversary, while visiting some of the park’s most iconic spots.
